When the wolf pack approaches, it does not rush into danger but rather looks for weakness to capitalize on its prey. You may fear the wolf in distant clearing...but the pack will already be at your heels for you did not hear rush of paws gaining behind you. They have been watching you for quite some time so don't feel too bad...it will be over quickly.
